We Love Target

Joining up with Jenni from the Blog's Your Three Words today!

If there is one trait that my children get from me, it is their love of Target! Now, I won't bother getting into whether it is genetic or environmental (nurture/nature). All I know is that my two babies are so sweet in the cart together perusing the aisle of Target!

Happy Friday!!

My three words this week:

FRIDAY'S FINALLY HERE!!!

This has been the longest week for me since I went back to work in April. I'm not so sure what made it feel so long, but Annie's bed wetting, Luke's teething, Eric's stress from testing, or my disinterest in all things work related had something to do with it!!

To get away from the negative, let's celebrate that today is Friday and I get to leave work in less than 5 minutes!!! This weekend we are going to do the following
1)Hopefully get Luke's 8 month picture taken 2 days before he is 9 months)
 2) I am going for dinner and a movie with my friends in Raleigh
 3) Try to clean out my mess of a car!

Happy Weekend!!

Hey Kids

Tomorrow night, lets do more of this
And more of this

And a little lot less of this

I mean you guys are cute and all, but really is it necessary for both of you to wake up in the middle of the night, taking turns to disrupt my sleep???

First Annie wet her bed, a new thing that happened every night this week (sigh). After I got her tucked back in, Luke started crying.... It went on like this, back and forth, for about three hours last night.

Needless to say I am a tired Mama today. But, work calls and I actually managed to get to work early this morning! Thank goodness for our wonderful babysitter/nanny (I can't come up with a clear difference) Paula, she has been a wonderful addition to our family and has made my transition back to work 1000 times easier.

This.

This is the expression I see very often on my sweet Annie's face. I don't recall exactly what I did to enrage her that that moment. It probably had something to do with her car seat being "too tight"....

Since I've gone back to work Annie has been kind of fussy and very particular about how things have to be! This could just be the final months of the terrible twos, although I have heard before that 3 year olds are even more difficult!!

Despite all of this she is still so sweet (this frown turned into a smile seconds later)

That's what I love about being a mom. Her smiles and how easily I can make one light  up her face.

Wordless Wednesday
